They are looking for an EHS Manager. The Environmental Compliance Manager (Manager) will support Newell Brands' global environmental and compliance program. The position will have global responsibilities in the support and optimization of the company's compliance program throughout its operations. The Manager will assist in the implementation and maintenance of programs, systems, and procedures necessary to support compliance with applicable environmental regulations and conformance with the company's corporate environmental standards. The position will report to the Senior Program Manager, Environmental and Compliance. Your key customers will be the company's Environmental Coordinators and EHS Managers for manufacturing and distribution facilities worldwide; Operations Leadership, Legal Services; Global Supply Chain Leadership; and the company's Sustainability Program. A Bachelor's degree is required. Degree in environmental, chemical, mechanical or process engineering preferred. Degrees in science or environmental studies considered with appropriate experience, skills and knowledge, such as an advanced degree in a pertinent discipline. Seven to ten years of experience required. Must have working knowledge of US Federal environmental regulations; international experience a plus. Knowledge of management systems such as ISO 14001, OSHAS 18001 or EPA's CFEMS a plus.

Health Safety & Environmental (HSE) Specialist

They are looking for an EHS Specialist. The Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Specialist will assist management in compliance with safety regulations in an effort to prevent injuries and illnesses to employees in the workplace; inspect the facility and minimize or eliminate hazards from processes, incorrect working methods and materials; comply with NCDOL requirements with respect to OSHA and Workers Compensation guidelines; ensure that the company complies with environmental regulations in the areas of air quality, waste management, clean water and pollution. The job entails a mix of scientific and administration work, along with knowledge of environmental legislation. Minimum education level is a Bachelor's Degree in a technical field, most likely Environmental or Industrial Engineering. Minimum of 2 years' experience in an industrial manufacturing environment working in Environmental Health and Safety is preferred, but is not necessary. Specific OSHA, NC DENR (EPA) and general NC Department of Labor knowledge is required in this position.

EHS Manager

They are looking for an EHS manager. The EHS Manager, is responsible for ensuring facility compliance with corporate Health, Environmental, and Safety, Security and Sustainability ("HESS") requirements and governmental regulations. Specific duties such as safety training, compliance audits, leading employee committees, managing improvement projects, waste management, necessary paper work and record keeping. Ultimate goal is to ensure the site is driving EHS excellence in all areas. Ideal candidate for this position is a hands on EHS leader with strengths in collaborating and gaining buy in with multiple levels of management and employees in a fast-paced plant environment with proven ability to manage a complex workload. Bachelor’s Degree and 5-7+ years' experience managing or supervising EHS in manufacturing environment is required. CSP or other EHS related certifications a plus. Strong Safety background including PSMs. Experience in Title V Air Permitting and compliance, wastewater permits, stormwater permits, RCRA, and remediation programs a plus.

Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Health or Safety, or engineering is required along with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Environmental, Health and Safety field or related disciplines, with some experience in oversight of EHS in a manufacturing environment. SAP experience preferred.

The Director, Environmental Regulatory Compliance oversees US Ecology’s Environmental Regulatory Compliance programs. The incumbent will work closely with internal and external resources, including regulatory agencies, in order to provide guidance on regulatory interpretations and to promote consistent application of the regulations company-wide while providing relevant information and reports to executive management on program performance. A master's degree (preferred) and professional training in environmental science, engineering or related field plus 10 years of experience in the hazardous waste management industry or a combination of education, training and experience is required. Knowledge of Environmental regulations specific to the environmental waste industry is required along with a comprehensive and expert level knowledge and understanding of current hazardous waste Treatment Storage and Disposal Facility (TSDF) and field and industrial services practices. Proven and highly developed management skills to effectively lead and direct a compliance assurance program a plus.
