25 States Are at Risk of Serious Flooding This Spring, U.S. Forecast Says
Nearly two-thirds of the lower 48 states will have an elevated risk of some flooding from now until May, and 25 states could experience “major or moderate flooding,” according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

Merck is a global health care leader looking for an EHS Director who will be responsible for leading a team of environmental and safety professionals and supporting a business unit. The ideal candidate will contribute to ensuring all EHS programs and training is following Merck procedures and all applicable local and regional regulations. A BS/BA in safety, environmental, ergonomics or a science field is required along with 10+ years applied professional EHS work experience. Previous experience with EPA/OSHA a must. CSP preferred.

Environmental, Health & Safety Manager
PepsiCo Inc.; White Plains, New York
PepsiCo Supply Chain is looking for an EHS Manager who will contribute to the success of the company by ensuring regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, and DOT), accident prevention, and after injury management. This position reports to the Regional EHS Manager and will work to support the EHS Management System across the Southeast region. They will look for you to be a subject matter expert in employee and motor vehicle safety and to be highly skilled at implementing processes that will lead to sustained EHS performance improvements. A Bachelor's Degree with greater than 5 years’ work experience in HSE/Fleet or 10 years applicable HSE experience without a degree is required. CSD/CSP/CIH/CHMM desired. ‬‬‬

Regional EHS Manager
Coherent Inc; East Hanover, New Jersey
Coherent East Hanover grows crystals for laser systems. They are looking for an EHS Manager to lead the East Coast manufacturing team. This person will handle all environmental, health and safety compliance efforts as well as maintain and establish processes and procedures to ensure the safety of our personnel and the environment. Responsibilities include managing the environmental, industrial, health and safety regulations management team for single or multiple facilities, overseeing the development, planning, and implementation of EHS policies and procedures. A Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or certified regulatory compliance program is required along with 5-10 years’ experience responsible for Environmental Health and Safety performance in an industrial / manufacturing environment. JHA/RCA/AIWC experience preferred.
