9:15 - 10:15 a.m. | Identifying and Prioritizing EHS Risk How do you know your efforts are focused on the issues with the biggest potential impact to your business? This session will look at how CP Kelco uses a detailed matrix approach to evaluate all risks and then drive resource allocation. The presentation will discuss the large number of people that feed information into the matrix and the wide range of decisions the matrix is used for, including investment opportunities, risk reduction projects and product quality.

Approaches to Auditing This session will examine the various approaches to EHS audit programs that three companies have taken in order to improve performance. The speakers will discuss past management structures, motivations for re-organizing their programs and the resulting gains on audit outcomes. You will gain insights in to critical elements of audit programs such as staffing, data collection, records management and corrective action measures.

We will also take a quick spin of the globe to update attendees on key regulatory changes over the past year and what to expect in the near future; with short stops in China and India to dive a bit deeper.

Talent and Knowledge Management As the economy improves, companies have been faced with a smaller pool of potential employees as well as increased turnover rates. The speakers in this session will discuss tools you can use to recruit prospective employees that meet your standards, as well as how to leverage available internal talent. The session will also highlight systems for retaining talent and keys to capturing knowledge for transfer to others.
