He holds an M.S. in Industrial Environmental Management from Yale University and a B.S. in Public Administration from Western Michigan University. He is a certified Lead Auditor for ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems, an OSHA Special Governmental Employee (SGE) for VPP Star Programs, and is also Six Sigma Green Belt Certified. He has held corporate, Segment, Business Unit and Plant HSE roles across 18 years and has worked with leading companies in the Environmental Health and Safety arena including General Electric (GE) and Gillette.
