Lise Beutel, Senior Business Consultant, UL Environment
Lise Beutel brings more than eight years of consumer marketing experience, a background in science, extensive knowledge of Corporate Social Responsibility and product-level environmental performance to her role as Senior Business Consultant for UL Environment.
UL Environment's unique value is combining science and environmental marketing to help genuine environmental leaders grow their businesses.
In the last five years, Ms. Beutel has conducted green marketing workshops for consumer packaged goods companies such as L'Oreal and Unilever and for member organizations such as the Institut du Developpement des Produits, a Quebec-based product development and innovation organization. She has participated in a number of conferences, including the National Postal Forum's Annual Conference, the Printing Industry of Northern California's Annual Conference, the Paper and the Paperboard Packaging Environmental Council.
Ms. Beutel also has acted as the French media spokesperson for the Sins of Greenwashing studies since 2007, interviewing with major French media such as Radio Canada and for a documentary on the cosmetics industry.
Prior to joining UL, she worked as the Marketplace Distribution Analyst for NIKE WHQ and as the International Marketing Manager for EMI Music.
She holds an MBA from McGill University with a concentration in Corporate Social Responsibility and has a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Carleton University.
