Maurice Bechard is the Vice President, Global Environment, Health, Safety and Product Stewardship for Sealed Air Corp., an $8 billion, 25,000+ employee global provider of packaging, cleaning, disinfection and appearance protection solutions headquartered in Elmwood Park, New Jersey.

He is past chair of the Global Environmental Management Initiative, an organization of more than 30 Fortune 500 companies dedicated to leading the way in environmental sustainability and enabling all organizations to benefit from this leadership.

Mr. Bechard also is a Certified Safety Professional, a Certified Hazard Control Manager, and holds advanced degrees in Polymer Science and Business. He has been active in environment, health and safety management for more than 30 years, with experience in the packaging, building maintenance, specialty chemical and medical device industries.
