Dr. Robin Eichen Conn, Global Regulatory Affairs Manager; Cargill Inc.

 

Robin Eichen Conn has three decades of experience in chemistry research and development, and regulatory affairs. She currently serves as the Global Regulatory Affairs Manager for Industrial Oil & Lubricants at Cargill Inc., where she manages product-based regulatory compliance and product stewardship for three high-growth Cargill businesses. These divisions focus on selling plant-based chemicals into industrial markets.

 

Ms. Eichen Conn joined Cargill in 1992 and has held positions in research and development, quality assurance, regulatory affairs and public affairs. Her work in a number of Cargill businesses has lead to experience with a variety of regulations and agencies including food and food packaging (FDA), chemical inventory (TSCA), and hazard communication (OSHA) and equivalent regulations in Australia, China, the EU, Japan and New Zealand. She has also been involved in developing environmental positioning of products and life cycle analysis.

 

She holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Harvard University and a Ph. D. from Princeton University.
