Stephen Donofrio, Vice President, Partnerships & Innovation; CDP North America
Stephen Donofrio is the Vice President of Partnerships and Innovation for the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP). He has a multi-sector background working in corporate sustainability, responsible investments, and environmental markets. He Stephen contributes to the overall strategic development of CDP North America, and leads the organization's corporate climate change and water disclosure work for 1,000+ companies in USA and Canada. This includes: company engagement and disclosure support; collaboration with North American CDP Services Partners and Investor Signatories; publication of CDP North America annual investor reports on the state, trends and outlook of corporate climate change reporting; and, the production of training webinars, events and workshops.
Stephen joined CDP from the Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX), where he managed and contributed to the development and implementation of the North American focused voluntary and legally binding GHG cap-and-trade and offsets programs. Prior to the CCX, he led business development and carbon market research for CINCS LLC and Carbon Credit Capital LLC, early-stage clean-tech companies providing asset management, renewable energy project development and remote-sensing based carbon accounting solutions to forest carbon offset projects worldwide.
Stephen has a B.S in Business Administration (International Business & Marketing) from Villanova University and is based out of CDP's North America HQ in New York, NY.
