Pat Brush, Vice President of HSE, Quality & Industrial Risk Management; Air Liquide S.A.
Pat Brush is the Vice President of HSES, Quality, and Industrial Risk Management for Air Liquide Global E & C Solutions with more than 25 years experience working in the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction industry. She has just relocated back to Air Liquide’s Houston office after spending three years in the Frankfurt, Germany office. In her role, Ms. Brusch is responsible for developing the strategy and managing resources related to HSES, quality, and industrial risk management for engineering & construction project execution and workshop production of cryogenic cold boxes and vessels globally.
She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Longwood University, and a Master of Science degree in Oceanography from Old Dominion University. She also completed post graduate studies in Community Health at the University of Texas School of Public Health.
Brian Burnikel, Senior Manager EHS; The Boeing Co.
Brian Burnikel is a Senior Manager in Boeing’s Enterprise Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Organization for The Boeing Co. In this role, he is responsible for leading the implementation of common systems, processes, and tools for various Environmental areas focused on embedding EHS into the business. Mr. Burnikel’s responsibilities also include oversight and daily management of the company’s 4-walls environmental performance targets, as well as other external data collection and reporting such as: hazardous waste generation and disposal, greenhouse gas emissions, hazardous materials inventory, and material safety data sheets. He also serves as skill leader for the EHS discipline within Boeing’s Enterprise EHS Organization where he leads efforts to attract and retain EHS talent to meet the evolving needs of the business.
Mr. Burnikel joined The Boeing Company in 1997 and has worked in various capacities outside of EHS such as Industrial Engineering and in Manufacturing as a First Line Supervisor.
He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from the University of Idaho, and Masters of Science degree in Technical Management from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. He is also a Certified Professional in Disability Management, certified as an Accelerated Improvement Workshop (AIW) Facilitator, and is trained as a green belt in 6-Sigma. Mr. Burnikel serves on the Board of Regents for NAEM, is a member of Manufacturers Alliance for Productivity and Innovation (MAPI)’s EHS Council, and represents Boeing within one of the International Aerospace Environmental Group (IAEG) Work Groups focused on developing Greenhouse Gas accounting and reporting standards for the Aerospace Industry.
Mark Hause, Environmental Competency Leader; DuPont Co.
Mark Hause is Global Environmental Competency Leader for DuPont, as part of the Corporate Safety, Health and Environmental Excellence Center. His previous experiences include Global Environmental Engineering Technology Manager, as well as a variety of Leadership roles in Manufacturing, Technology, Sales, Marketing, Business Development, and Business Management in the 32 years that has been at DuPont.
Mr. Hause earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering at Iowa State University.
His professional affiliations include: Board membership for NAEM, Red Clay Valley Association, and Adoptive Families with Information and Support. He also previously served as a Board Member for GEMI, the Environmental Associates of the Philadelphia Academy of Natural Science and the Center for Waste Reduction Technologies.
