Lesley Clarke, Environmental Performance Lead; Walker Industries Inc.
Lesley Clarke, Environmental Performance and Compliance Lead at Walker Industries, is responsible for developing and implementing environmental management programs with a focus on regulatory compliance, permitting, training and auditing. Walker Industries is a fifth-generation, family-owned company that is organized into three distinct divisions: Walker Aggregates and Construction, Walker Emulsions, and Walker Environmental. Headquartered in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, Walker Industries has 58 facility locations across Canada and the United States, which serve markets across North America.
Lesley has over 13 years of experience working in the environmental sector. She began her career as an environmental consultant, where she conducted and later managed contaminated site assessments, monitoring and remediation projects in several jurisdictions across Canada. In more recent years, Lesley moonlighted as an instructor at Niagara College, lecturing on waste management practices in Ontario.
Lesley is a graduate of Fleming College and is a certified member of The Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists. She also holds a Professional Management Certificate from Brock University and is currently working towards her Strategic Management certification from McMaster University. Lesley resides in Beamsville, Ontario with her husband Ben and two children Georgia and Mason.
