Megan Lum, Director Environment, Transmission; The Pacific Gas & Electric Co.

Megan Lum is Director, Environmental Management, Transmission, for Pacific Gas & Electric Company.  In that role, she is privileged to lead a team of about 110 professionals, who provide environmental compliance support for the company's gas and electric transmission operations across its service territory. In this position she is continually learning about the various aspects EH&S culture.

 

Ms. Lum is a registered professional engineer and was one of the original ISO 14001-certified auditors. She is a member of NAEM's Board of Regents and is also a Senior Life Member of the Society of Women Engineers, for which she has served on the Board of Directors and is currently active in their ethics committee.

 

She has a Bachelor of Applied Science in chemical engineering from the University of Windsor and an Executive MBA from the University of Washington.  In her spare time, she is an unabashed AFOL (Adult Fan of LEGO), and has recently returned from an international LEGO conference near their headquarters.
