Michael (Mike) Anderson is a Principal Engineer within the Corporate ESH organization at Lockheed Martin Corporation. Mike joined Lockheed Martin in late 2015 after spending more than 25 years providing ESH support to the chemicals and consumer products / commercial equipment industries. Earlier in his career, Mike supported the manufacturing and utilities infrastructure at a large chemical manufacturer, providing ESH supports on projects such as incineration/wastewater treatment design, permitting, and compliance. Later, Mike was involved in product design, sustainability, and commercialization projects that advanced ESH attributes such as 'green' design, allowing for increased sales and global market penetration.
For many years, Mike has been an active participant in various trade group / consortiums seeking to gain favorable outcomes for industry. In his current role, Mike partners with Government Affairs and Legal along with several external consortia partners. Finally, Mike has been an active member on several standards development teams seeking to harmonize global ESH initiatives for the electronics industry, including the global materials restrictions/disclosures standard known as IPC 1752 and the 'Green Electronics Product' standard also known as EPEAT (IEEE 1680.2).
