Kelvin Sanborn, EHS Strategy & Operations Leader; General Electric Healthcare
Kelvin is responsible for the strategy and deployment of EHS and sustainability programs across GE Healthcare. He leads a team of EHS&S professionals who drive compliance, set the standards for risk management, and lead implementation across the company's 50,000 employees. He facilitates the company's cross-functional sustainability board and is responsible for the execution of environmental sustainability targets.
Prior to joining GE Healthcare, Kelvin led the EHS technology efforts for GE Corporate. Kelvin's organization used emerging technologies to transform how GE protects workers and the environment. His team's work democratized data, produced advanced analytics, and leveraged technologies like sensors and wearables to prevent injuries and unplanned downtime. He also spent 10 years at GE Aviation in EHS roles in the supply chain and services organizations.
Kelvin is a graduate of Tufts University with a degree in environmental engineering. He is a longtime member of the GE GLBTA Alliance and a proud Big Brother as part of the Greater Boston Big Brother Big Sister Program.
