Diane Curelli, Manager, Environmental Risk & Sustainability; General Mills Inc.
Diane is responsible for helping develop global manufacturing sustainability strategies to enable General Mill's sustainability goals, writes environmental and sustainability standards, and supports efforts to reduce overall environmental risk for the corporation.
In addition, Diane is currently leading General Mill's Zero Waste to Landfill initiative, is responsible for the corporate Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting and manages the environmental metric data system. She is also the volunteer pillar leader for the General Mill's Veteran's Network and serves on the steering committee for the Minnesota Sustainable Growth Coalition.
Ms. Curelli has more than 12 years of Environmental, Health, Safety and Sustainability experience with federal and state government as well as multinational fortune 500 companies; the past 5+ years have been with General Mills. Diane earned a B.A. in Geology and an M.S. in Environment, Health and Safety, both from the University of Minnesota, Duluth. She is a Certified Safety Professional.
In her free time, Diane enjoys cooking, reading and spending time outdoors training for the next half marathon or playing in the mountains.
