Halina Caravello, Principal; H. Caravello Consulting
Halina Caravello is an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) leader with more than 30 years of experience in EHS and leadership roles. She is the recent founder of H. Caravello Consulting where as one of her roles serves as the Program Director for the Chief EH&S Officers' Council at The Conference Board. Previously Halina was the global EHS Vice President for Johnson Controls (merged with Tyco in 2016) leading the organization through the EHS functional integration efforts. Her prior experience includes 24 years at Baker Hughes, Inc. with six years as the company's corporate vice president of HS&E.
Halina holds a Ph.D. in Leadership and Organizational Change with a focus on safety leadership from Walden University, a M.Sc. in ecology from the University of Houston and a B.Sc. in biology from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She is a member of the UH School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics Dean's Advisory Board, several professional societies including NAEM and has held past board positions at the Oil and Gas Producers Association, the Synthetic Organic Chemical Manufacturers Association, The Greening of Industry Network, and the Texas Association of Environmental Professionals.
