Suseela Akella, Superintendent, Environmental Engineering; CF Industries Inc.

Suseela Akella serves as Superintendent, Environmental Engineering at CF Industries in Donaldsonville, Louisiana. In this role, she manages multimedia environmental permitting, compliance management, integrated reporting, and sustainability for the world’s largest and most flexible ammonia production facility. Ms. Akella has previously worked as an environmental consultant where she focused on air quality related permitting and reporting for several different manufacturing facilities including refineries, pulp and paper mills, and chemical manufacturing.

Ms. Akella, born and raised in India, graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering and Management from India. She then traveled across the world to pursue a Master’s degree at Louisiana Tech University to enhance and advance her expertise and knowledge, for achieving greater success.
