The KMI EHS Suite is being presented by AMCOL International, where the system's focus is on safety and risk reduction across 33 global facilities. KMI is utilized for incident management, auditing, behavior safety observations, compliance management, corrective actions, quality, industrial hygiene monitoring and environmental key performance indicator reporting.

Software: EMSolution® EMS and Tracker
BAE Systems will give a presentation of EMSolution EMS which is used for documentation, maintenance and communication of the facility's ISO 14001-third-party certified environmental management system. BAE also utilizes EMSolution Tracker, a web-based software application to assign, track and report EHS regulatory requirements, tasks, nonconformance and corrective/preventive actions. As an example of performance improvement since implementing EMSolution, during the Army's Environmental Performance Assessment System Program audit in 2005, there were 48 findings. During the June 2008 EPAS audit, that number was reduced to 8.

BP will demonstrate the ' ENFOS Enterprise Environmental Business Management Solution', which is an Environmental reserve and asset retirement obligation management system. This web-based application has been deployed within BP's Remediation Management function to track and manage remediation, decommissioning, and property reuse projects. Data management and business process functions to be shown include both general site and area of concern (AOC) management and several core financial processes necessary to run a global remediation program. The ENFOS system helps companies comply with Environmental Contingent Liability requirements FAS 5 SOP 96-1 and Asset Retirement Obligations FAS 143 FIN 47, which are Federal SEC reporting and auditing requirements for publically held companies.

CB&I, an engineering and construction company, will demonstrate its use of Cintellate, a web based enterprise-wide application to assist in managing the business processes associated with EHS and Risk-related functions. Cintellate helps improve transparency and assists organizations to proactively measure, manage and improve overall business performance. CB&I is using Cintellate to manage their projects globally as their mandatory EHS management system. They have active sites and Cintellate users in almost every corner of the world including the USA, Mexico, Canada, South America, the Middle East, Australia, China, Russia and the UK.

MedImmune, Biologics Business Unit of AstraZeneca, will demonstrate Trackwise EHS, which was selected by working with the software consultancy E2 ManageTech. Trackwise is an EHS incident, near miss reporting, risk assessment and corrective action tracking tool. The system is actively used today by all departments at MedImmune sites, including research and development laboratories, production, facilities and shipping/receiving operations.

Millipore will showcase a pair of web-based EHS systems developed in-house. The 'EHS Scorecard' is used to breakdown and evaluate the maturity of various EHS programs, while the 'Environmental Metrics DB' tracks environmental metrics that make up their greenhouse gas emissions or are otherwise significant to their impact on the environment.

'WebMetrics' from Gannett Fleming is an innovative web-based tool used to measure, analyze, graph and report EHS performance. Since its launch, 'WebMetrics' has led to significant gains in data collection efficiency, accuracy, quality, and timeliness through real-time collection and reporting of EHS data over the web. This application was designed originally for improving the timeliness and accuracy of its annual environmental report to its shareholders. However, after launching the program, Smithfield realized significant benefits in other areas, such as quicker and more accurate data comparisons, better understanding of capital costs to optimize resource allocation and improved plant-level support.
